Welcome to the web site of Bernard Hoskin, acoustic roots singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Cambridge, England.

There is a diverse range of influences that go to create my distinctive and original sound which is based upon English songwriting and world music rhythms as well as the more common folk, country and blues styles.

I have released 7 CDs and opened for people such as Bert Jansch, Martin Carthy, Harvey Andrews, John Renbourn, Clive Gregson, Isaac Guillory, Phil Beer, Colvin Quarmby, The Bills, Decameron, Dansaul, Hummingbird and the Amy Wadge Band.

On this site you will find full details of the CDs, complete songs as MP3s, gig listings and much more. If you are interested in booking me for your venue go to the demo page to hear live recordings.
